I wish Kuch had gotten his goal tonight. You could see the disappointment on his face as he sat on the bench during the final shift of the game. The fire that guy has is good to see. He absolutely hates underperforming. He was disappointed that he only had two assists in a win. I wish every player on the team was like that.

Sergachev - 2g, 4a, +2

Drouin - 2g, 3a, -4

So far so good... There really is no comparing them but I had to at least once. I still miss Drouin dangling and he will be a good player but this kid Sergachev is only scratching the surface.

I love the fact that they are purposely putting him behind the 90-91-86 line whenever they can.

Good win and that top line has 13 goals just among themselves and 36 points in 8 games.

Kid is really really good.

We're gonna regret not taking him in the draft.

Not comparing because I think both players are really good, but Drouin producing on a team near bottom of the league is a great sign for him & his team. You guys are a hot team so offensive minded players should be producing.

Good for Sergachev, kid is going to be great.

Mind you, I'm still very happy with the trade.

Good trade for both teams, love both players.

So are you saying when a commentator says in a game that Drouin is reaching around, he's not really going for the puck?

The Lightning have been giving up too many shots so far this season, but it seems to be happening later in games when they are frequently playing with a lead. Somewhat attributable to score effects, maybe?

Good win. But, giving up 40 shots a game is not going to keep ending well.

Girardi has not looked especially terrible, but it's hard not to notice how his game is very one dimensional. Why is this guy getting ice time over Koekkoek?

And why is Sustr still here? He hasn't looked terrible either, but his game is also one-dimensional. He refuses to throw checks. Again, Koekkoek is a better option than Sustr or Girardi.

I have had no problem with how they are playing Girardi. He is a fine 15min bottom pairing guy who plays the PK. I didnt know what to expect from him but so far that signing looks okay by me.

Sustr is a dumpster fire, he is taking away ice time from younger players with more potential. I hope they trade him and play Koekkoek, Sergachev and Dotchin more then they are. Its clear Koekkoek has much more potential, lets give him the ice time to prove it.

I'm sure someone would take Sustr for a draft pick. I just don't see them going much longer with 8 d. Koekkoek would bring a bigger return if traded but he has more potential so I think Y will keep him and unload Sustr.
